You'll notice a new button on the Application's Page that'll take you to the daily horoscopes.

Content Levels

There are three viewing levels for the new page

1. Not logged in users will be presented with the option to log in or register.
2. Normal users are able to see weekly and monthly posts.
3. Premium users are able to see daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly posts.

How it works (a brief description for the nerds)

I was planning on getting deep into how the horoscope generation works in this post, but it is getting late, so I'll get deeper into architecture as we make more updates. For now, know that there are actually 4 models working in an editorial pipeline I've put together. We have the following jobs defined in system prompts: Content Generator, Proof Editor, Image Selection Editor, and Editor in Chief. The post gets passed to each person in the editorial pipeline before the Editor in Chief gives the post a grade. If the grade fails, the content generation starts aaaaaaaaallllll over again.

The Artwork

All of the art is pre-generated ahead of time. The only thing that happens is the image gets selected based on the vibe of the post. I'm hoping image generators get better and more reliable over time, but unfortunately right now I can't trust any of them to generate a cohesive "on brand" image on the first, second, or even third shot yet. Until that day comes, we'll probably keep our bank method and keep adding to it.

Planned Future Updates

1. Increase rendering/load speed
2. Email out the horoscope upon generation (to those subscribed to the mailing list)
3. Post to Meta platforms upon every generation
